What is sarro? (Also called sarrinho)

Sarro is a footwork focused dance (similar to shuffling) originating from Brazil. It's a relatively new dance, starting in around 2010, and is gaining traction through social media. Honestly, I'm so glad it is because I'm OBSESSED 🤩.
The movements in sarro are much more relaxed and groovy then shuffling, relying on a lot of swag and arm movement to give the dance it's characteristic look and feel.
Sarro is a great dance to learn on its own OR to incorporate into your shuffling, as the two styles go together like chocolate and strawberries.
This is a great video to learn more about Sarro from our new GUEST TEACHER....

Amanda is teaching a Sarro Masterclass on The Shuffle Vault!
In the Masterclass you'll learn:
The Foundations of Sarro
9 moves and spins to incorporate into your foundations
How to use your ARMS
Head over to the Sarro Masterclass playlist to get started 💃🏼🕺🏼
See you on the dance floor!
