How Shuffling Changed My Life

Not to be dramatic or anything…but it did. Not only did it give me a career that I love, but it also:

  • Introduced me to amazing people (and some of my best friends)

  • Gave me confidence in every aspect of my life

  • Helped me through some difficult times

  • Showed me that I could do anything I set me my mind to


And that's just to name a few. 


Whether learning just for funsies, or you're looking for a new active hobby, whatever the reason I think you made the right choice. 

 

Dance isn’t just fun — it’s science-backed magic for your brain and body ✨🧠💃:

  • Boosts mood & fights depression

    Dancing increases levels of serotonin and dopamine, which help regulate mood and fight anxiety and depression.

  • Improves memory

    Dance challenges your brain with coordination, timing, and rhythm — which boosts neuroplasticity and memory retention.

  • Helps process emotions

    Movement is a powerful form of emotional expression — especially for things words can’t say.

  • Strengthens social bonds

    Dancing with others or even sharing your progress online boosts connection, belonging, and community.

  • Triggers “feel good” mirror neurons

    Watching others dance — or being watched — activates empathy and joy in the brain.


Just a few more reasons why I believe everyone should dance and IS a dancer deep down.
